ODEMSA COORDINATOR, DR WAHEED FOLAYAN, TO BAG DISTINGUISHED LEADERSHIP AWARD FOR EXCELLENCE IN PUBLIC SERVICE
The Coordinating Director of the Ondo State Emergency Medical Services Agency (ODEMSA), Dr Waheed Folayan, is set to receive the prestigious Media Distinguished Leadership Award in Public Service from Democrat News Magazine in recognition of his exemplary leadership, dedication to duty and contributions to the advancement of emergency medical services in Ondo State.
The distinguished honour forms part of the activities marking the 8th Anniversary celebration of Democrat News Magazine, scheduled for Sunday, November 22, 2026, at the OSDPC Event Centre, First Gate, Ijapo Estate, Akure, Ondo State, beginning at 2:30 p.m.
According to the management of Democrat News Magazine, Dr Folayan’s nomination reflects his commitment to effective public service, responsible leadership and the pursuit of improved emergency medical care for the people of Ondo State. The recognition comes as the ODEMSA management team, under the leadership of Dr Folayan, continues to assess operational challenges affecting the optimal performance of the agency’s facilities, including its call centre along Laje Road in Ondo town and the Bolorunduro Base Station.
