Araromi-Aladodo Community in Akure South Local Government Area of Ondo State, under the leadership of Olu Adekunle Opeyemi Emmanuel has witnessed an avalanche of achievements within a year he has been in the saddle of leadership in the community.
Speaking with the Democrat News Magazine in his palace at Araromi-Aladodo on Saturday 5th of August 2023, Olu Adekunle Opeyemi Emmanuel appreciated God for his installation by the Deji of Akure kingdom, Oba (Dr) Aladetoyinbo Ogunlade Aladelusi last year.
According to him: “I will like to use this medium to thank my father and my role model, a peace loving and unassuming leader, Oba (Dr) Aladetoyinbo Ogunlade Aladelusi, the Deji and Paramount Ruler of Akure kingdom. It is through his foresight and ingenuity we are here today as Olu Araromi-Aladodo Community.
“Within a year we have been able to stabilize peace of our community. By the virtue of my position, I was able to reach out to a good numbers of sons and daughters of Araromi-Aladodo Community both at home and abroad and we have been talking on how to develop the community.
“When I came in as Head of Araromi-Aladodo Community I made it known to government of Ondo State our basic needs, like Health Centre, potable water, motorable road and a host of others. I want to thank God for the government of Ondo State under the leadership of Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu for meeting some of our needs, it is my sincere prayer that God will will grant our governor quick recovery and he will come and meet us in peace.
“Now our Health Centre is ongoing, government also gave us borehole and palliative for people of the community whose houses were affected by storm and I am praying that our road will be attended to in no distant time.”
While speaking on the creation of Local Council Development Areas (LCDA) in Ondo State, Kabiyesi Adekunle Opeyemi Emmanuel said it is a step in a right direction stressing that it has been a long time that Ondo State people have been clamouring for it.
He therefore commended both the executive and legislative arms of government for good job towards making it a reality.
In the same way, he pointed out that plans are under way to facilitate Security Post to Araromi-Aladodo Community for the purpose of security of life and prosperity of the residents.
Kabiyesi Adekunle has bagged over three different awards from reputable organisations for his leadership qualities and vision that brought about advancement of the community.
As he focuses on the years ahead, called on the people of the community to watch out for unprecedented development in his community adding that he would stop at nothing to fast track development to Araromi-Aladodo Community.
Also in his comment, the Aro of Araromi-Aladodo Community, Chief Muyiwa Adekanye celebrated the leadership qualities of Kabiyesi Adekunle Opeyemi Emmanuel saying that his peaceful tendency has been facilitating the development of the community.
He called on all the indigenes of the community to continue to support Kabiyesi Adekunle Opeyemi Emmanuel whose tenure ushered in a new development for all and sundry in the community.
