Focus Magazine Honours Mrs. Bulous Florence Ojogo with Excellence Award in Entrepreneurship and Human Empowerment
The Executive Director of Bulous Fashion Empires, Mrs. Bulous Florence Ojogo, is set to receive the prestigious Excellence in Entrepreneurship and Human Empowerment Award at the 20th Anniversary Lecture and Award Ceremony of The Focus Magazine, scheduled to hold on Friday, July 24, 2026, at Pharmacy House, beside the Government House, near the NSCDC Office, Alagbaka, Akure, Ondo State.
The anniversary celebration, themed “Twenty Years of Truth, Voice and Impact: The Role of Media in Shaping Society,” is designed to commemorate two decades of impactful journalism, public enlightenment, and societal development by The Focus Magazine. The event is expected to attract prominent government officials, media practitioners, traditional rulers, business leaders, and other distinguished personalities from across Ondo State.
According to a press statement issued by the Chairman of the Planning Committee, the event will feature a keynote lecture by Prince Kayode Adelekun Fasua, Managing Director of The Hopes Magazine, while the Ondo State Commissioner for Water Resources, Public Sanitation and Hygiene, Hon. Ayodele Akande, FCA, will serve as Chairman of the occasion. The Executive Governor of Ondo State, His Excellency, Dr. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, is expected as the Special Guest of Honour.
The organizers stated that Mrs. Bulous Florence Ojogo was selected for the Excellence in Entrepreneurship and Human Empowerment Award in recognition of her remarkable achievements in business development and her unwavering commitment to empowering people, particularly women and youths. Through her visionary leadership of Bulous Fashion Empires, she has built a thriving enterprise that has created employment opportunities, promoted skill acquisition, and contributed significantly to economic growth within the community.
The statement further noted that Mrs. Ojogo’s inspiring journey from humble beginnings to becoming a successful entrepreneur reflects the values of resilience, hard work, innovation, and sound decision-making. A major highlight of the celebration will be the official launch of the Focus Magazine Office Project, alongside a fundraising session to support its completion. The programme will commence promptly at 12:00 noon, featuring the anniversary lecture, presentation of awards, goodwill messages, and the office project launch, as The Focus Magazine celebrates 20 years of excellence, truth, and impactful journalism.
