Ramadan Generosity: Islamic Cleric Sheu Agba Distributes Clothes Worth Millions to Followers in Ondo South
An Islamic cleric and respected scholar, Alhaji Sheu Agba, popularly known as 001, has demonstrated a remarkable act of generosity by distributing clothes worth millions of naira to his followers across the Ondo South Senatorial District on the third day of the holy month of Ramadan.
Speaking during the distribution exercise, Alhaji Sheu Agba, who serves as the Chairman of the Mobilisation Committee of the Peoples Democratic Party in Ondo North Senatorial District, said that giving and supporting others has always been part of his life. According to him, the initiative is aimed at putting smiles on the faces of his people during the sacred season of Ramadan, which symbolizes hope, love, and compassion among believers.
He explained that the gesture was not only a humanitarian effort but also a reflection of the spirit of Ramadan, a period known for kindness, charity, and strengthening bonds within communities. Beneficiaries expressed appreciation for the support, noting that the clothing items would go a long way in assisting many families during the fasting period.
Alhaji Agba further revealed that the distribution of clothes and other relief materials would continue throughout the Ramadan period, ensuring that more people across the district will benefit from the initiative. He emphasized his commitment to supporting the welfare of the people and maintaining close ties with members of the community.
The Islamic cleric also used the opportunity to encourage his followers and party supporters to remain steadfast in the Peoples Democratic Party. Expressing confidence in the future of the party, he said that with the backing and support of Seyi Makinde, the PDP is intensifying preparations ahead of the 2027 general elections. According to him, the party is determined not only to secure victory in the presidential election but also to achieve strong legislative wins at both the federal and state levels across the country.
