The Honourable Commissioner for Infrastructure, Lands and Housing, Engr. Ayorinde Abiola Olawoye, FNSE, FNICE, continued his tireless drive this week toward the actualisation of Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa’s sustainable infrastructure development agenda.
His activities reflected a blend of technical oversight, strategic planning, and hands-on supervision across critical projects in the state.
From inter-ministerial meetings aimed at strengthening the state’s infrastructural framework to technical sessions with teams from the University of Medical Sciences Teaching Hospital (UNIMEDTH) and the Federal University of Technology Teaching Hospital (FUTATH), Engr. Olawoye reiterated that all approved projects will be executed in strict compliance with professional and regulatory standards.
Following the successful restoration of streetlights in Akure metropolis weeks ago, the Commissioner this week supervised the repair and optimisation of site vehicles and construction machinery within the Ministry.
His schedule also included an inspection of the ongoing Ondo Judiciary Quarters project, where he expressed satisfaction with the progress made and charged the contractor to deliver on schedule while maintaining the highest engineering standards.
Carrying the weight of the administration’s infrastructure agenda, Engr. Olawoye engaged in several technical review and evaluation sessions to assess ongoing works and fine-tune upcoming projects. These engagements underscore his commitment to ensuring that every infrastructural intervention under his watch is functional, durable, and aligned with the vision of Gov. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa as encapsulated in the OUR EASE agenda.
