HIGH CHIEF MOLOS GIVES N3,060,000 TO 151 ESE-ODO INDIGENES IN Q2 2026, REAFFIRMS MONTHLY HUMANITY SUPPORT SCHEME
In line with his administration’s commitment to people-first governance, the 6th Executive Chairman of Ese-Odo Local Government Area, *High Chief Caleb Ebimobowei Molos*, has again supported 151 indigenes of the Council area with a total sum of N3,060,000 in the second quarter of 2026.
The financial support, drawn entirely from the Chairman’s monthly salaries and allowances, was distributed to beneficiaries across the 10 political wards of Ese-Odo. It forms part of his Monthly Humanity Support Scheme, a personal initiative he commenced in October 2025 to directly ease the economic burden of the citizens.
“This is from my salary and allowances as your Chairman. I started this in October 2025 because I understand the hardship our people face at the grassroots. God has blessed me to be in this position, so I must give back,” he stated.
The Council Chairman confirmed that the support will be sustained every month throughout his tenure as Executive Chairman of Ese-Odo LGA.
“Although, the amount that goes to each individual might be little to some people but the goal is to put food on the table, pay school fees, buy medications, or support a small trade. We will keep doing this every month until the last day of this administration. That is my covenant with Ese-Odo people,” the Chairman added.
For the April–June 2026 cycle, 151 indigenes were carefully selected across all wards in collaboration with ward leaders, and youth structures to ensure transparency and equity. The total disbursement stood at N3,060,000.
The beneficiaries expressed gratitude, describing the Chairman as “a leader with a human face.” Many noted that the monthly intervention has become a lifeline for households in riverine and upland communities.
Since assuming office, High Chief Molos has prioritized direct citizen support alongside infrastructure and human capital development. The Monthly Humanity Support Scheme is one of several social investment programmes under his administration aimed at reducing poverty and promoting inclusion.
The Executive Chairman equally thanked the people of Ese-Odo for their prayers and support, and urged other well-meaning sons and daughters of the LGA to complement government efforts in uplifting the grassroots.
