In a goodwill message to commemorate the sacred festival, Hon. The council chairman encouraged Muslim faithful to take advantage of the solemn occasion to offer prayers for sustained peace, progress, stability, and economic advancement in Ondo State and Nigeria as a whole. He further urged individuals and families to extend gestures of love and support to widows, orphans, the less privileged, and vulnerable members of society, stressing that Eid-el-Adha represents the spirit of generosity, communal harmony, and shared humanity.
Hon. Adegoroye also appealed to residents of the state to celebrate responsibly, remain security conscious, and continue to nurture the peaceful atmosphere for which Ondo State is widely respected. He prayed that Almighty Allah accepts the prayers, sacrifices, and righteous deeds of Muslim faithful while blessing homes and communities with peace, divine favour, prosperity, sound health, and enduring joy. “Eid Mubarak! Taqabbalallahu minna wa minkum,” he said.
