EID-EL-ADHA: HON. (MRS.) MARGARET GBADAMOSI (MOVING TONGUE) FELICITATES MUSLIM UMMAH, PREACHES LOVE AND TOLERANCE
Hon. (Mrs.) Margaret Gbadamosi, popularly known as Moving Tongue, has extended warm felicitations to the Muslim Ummah in Ondo State and across Nigeria as they celebrate this year’s Eid-el-Adha, calling on faithful to uphold the virtues of sacrifice, love, unity, and peaceful coexistence.
In a goodwill message, the former Secretary of Akure South Local Government and chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ward 10, Akure South, described Eid-el-Adha as a sacred and significant period of spiritual reflection, devotion, gratitude, and obedience to the will of Almighty Allah (SWT). She noted that the celebration, inspired by the unwavering faith and sacrifice of Prophet Ibrahim (AS), serves as a profound lesson in selflessness, tolerance, compassion, and commitment to humanity.
Hon. (Mrs.) Margaret Gbadamosi urged Muslim faithful to use the festive season to offer fervent prayers for lasting peace, unity, stability, and progress in Ondo State and Nigeria at large. She further encouraged them to extend acts of kindness and generosity to widows, orphans, the less privileged, and vulnerable members of society, emphasizing that the true essence of Eid-el-Adha lies in sacrifice, communal love, and care for one another regardless of religious, ethnic, or social differences.
The APC chieftain also appealed to residents to celebrate in moderation, observe safety measures, and continue to sustain the peaceful atmosphere for which Ondo State is known.
She prayed that Almighty Allah accepts the prayers, sacrifices, and good deeds of Muslim faithful, while granting families abundant blessings, sound health, prosperity, divine favour, and enduring happiness. “Eid Mubarak! Taqabbalallahu minna wa minkum,” she declared.
