EID-EL-ADHA: OLUMAFON OF IMAFON KINGDOM, OBA SAMUEL ALIU ADEGBEHINGBE, CELEBRATES MUSLIM UMMAH, PREACHES PEACE, SACRIFICE AND UNITY
The Olumafon of Imafon Kingdom, Oba Samuel Adegbehingbe Aliu, has extended warm felicitations to the Muslim Ummah in Ondo State and across Nigeria as they celebrate this year’s Eid-el-Adha, urging faithful to embrace the spirit of sacrifice, love, and peaceful coexistence.
In a goodwill message issued on behalf of the people of Imafon Kingdom, both at home and in the diaspora, the revered monarch described Eid-el-Adha as a sacred season of reflection, devotion, and gratitude, inspired by the unwavering faith and obedience of Prophet Ibrahim (AS).
According to the royal father, the celebration remains a profound reminder of the virtues of sacrifice, charity, tolerance, and total submission to the will of Almighty Allah (SWT).
Oba Adegbehingbe called on Muslim faithful to use the festive period to intensify prayers for enduring peace, unity, and progress in Ondo State and Nigeria at large.
He further encouraged adherents of Islam to extend kindness and generosity to the less privileged, emphasizing the importance of compassion and communal support during the celebration.
The monarch also appealed to residents to celebrate responsibly by observing safety measures and sustaining the peaceful atmosphere for which Ondo State is renowned.
He prayed that Almighty Allah accepts the prayers, sacrifices, and good deeds of the faithful while blessing families with abundant peace, good health, prosperity, and divine favour. “Eid Mubarak! Taqabbalallahu minna wa minkum,” the monarch declared.
