BIGSHIDA@50: A Celebration of Purpose, Industry and Kingdom Impact
Youth Summit, Purpose Fulfilling Conference Inspire Hundreds Toward Godly Character and Productive Living
Glory be to God Almighty as the 2026 edition of the Youth Summit and Purpose Fulfilling Conference, alongside the golden jubilee celebration of Prince Adewumi Adesida, popularly known as BIGSHIDA@50, ended in grand success at Treasure House of God. The two-day spiritual and leadership gathering, themed “The Spirit of Industry,” attracted students, professionals, ministers of the Gospel, youth leaders, and distinguished personalities from various sectors of society.
The event served as a remarkable platform for divine impartation, mentorship, youth empowerment, leadership enlightenment, and spiritual awakening. Participants described the conference as impactful, transformational, and timely, especially in an era where diligence, discipline, innovation, and purposeful living are greatly needed among young people.
Speaking during the conference, the organizers returned all glory to God for His faithfulness, grace, and divine presence throughout the programme. They also expressed profound appreciation to volunteers, ministers, speakers, partners, media teams, educational institutions, protocol officers, and support workers whose sacrifices and commitment contributed immensely to the outstanding success of the celebration.
The attendance at the Youth Summit reflected a strong passion among young people for growth and development, with a total of 129 students and 27 adults in participation, excluding volunteers and organizing teams. African Church Grammar School recorded the highest attendance with 60 students, followed by Anglican High School with 44 students, Gateway Secondary School with 24 students, while Abeokuta Girls Grammar School was represented by one student.
The summit featured an array of seasoned speakers and professionals who delivered insightful teachings on leadership, innovation, diligence, destiny fulfillment, and purpose discovery. Among the distinguished speakers were Ayokunnu Ojeniyi, Managing Partner of Reverso Business Services; Michael Olamide, CEO of HBG Technologies, Houston, Texas, USA; Ranti Ogunloye, CEO of Big & Bold Communication, Lagos; Hon. Lawal, Senior Special Assistant on Youth Affairs to the Ogun State Governor representing the Honourable Minister for Youth Development, Comrade Ayodele Olawande; and the host, Prince Adewumi Adesida, CEO of Accurate Pattern Global Concept.
The Setman of Treasure House of God also delivered profound spiritual teachings centered on the conference theme, “The Spirit of Industry.” His message emphasized diligence, innovation, spiritual empowerment, responsibility, and productive living as kingdom virtues necessary for national transformation and destiny fulfillment. The atmosphere throughout the sessions was charged with inspiration, wisdom, mentorship, and spiritual encounters that deeply impacted participants.
The celebration continued on Saturday, 9th May 2026, with a powerful Birthday Thanksgiving Service held in honour of Prince Adewumi Adesida’s 50th birthday. The service was marked by heartfelt exhortations, prayers, prophetic blessings, and moving tributes from notable ministers of God who testified to the exemplary life and character of the celebrant.
Among the distinguished ministers present were Bishop Felix Adejumo, Pastor Adeniyi Daniel, Apostle Lawrence Achudume, and Pastor Abraham Senfuye. In their various remarks, the ministers described Prince Adewumi Adesida as a man deeply committed to God, passionate about kingdom service, loyal and faithful in stewardship, spiritually mature, hardworking, disciplined, and purpose-driven. They further affirmed that he had faithfully served under several spiritual leaders over the years with unwavering consistency and godly character.
The ministers emphasized that the life of the celebrant reflects the practical teachings of Christ as contained in Matthew 5:3–16, portraying humility, service, integrity, loyalty, and positive influence. They encouraged the younger generation to emulate these virtues in order to become impactful leaders and responsible citizens.
One of the strongest messages repeatedly echoed throughout the conference and thanksgiving service was the importance of character, discipline, diligence, and faithfulness in destiny fulfillment. The speakers unanimously stressed that laziness has no place in the life of anyone seeking greatness, while hard work, discipline, integrity, and loyalty remain indispensable virtues for lasting success and kingdom impact.
A major communiqué statement from the event declared: “Beauty without character is nothing. Discipline does not mean weakness, and hard work does not mean foolishness. As children of God, we must remain hardworking, loyal, disciplined, faithful, and committed to God in all we do. Be yourself and not what people want you to be, because godly character is a major key to a fulfilled future and destiny.”
The remarkable event concluded with intense prayers, prophetic declarations, thanksgiving, and the sharing of the grace, leaving participants spiritually refreshed, inspired, and motivated toward purposeful and productive living.
