“Excellence Without Cheating”: Fiwasaye Principal, Dr. Ojoge, Celebrates Outstanding 2024/2025 Graduating Class
In a resounding celebration of integrity and academic brilliance, the Principal of Fiwasaye Girls’ Grammar School, Ambassador Dr. (Mrs.) Omobola Temitope Ojoge, has praised the 2024/2025 graduating class for achieving excellence without compromising their values.
Speaking shortly after the school’s vibrant Valedictory Service and the official induction of outgoing SS3 students into the Fiwasaye Old Girls’ Association (FOGA), Dr. Ojoge described the students as “exceptional young women who succeeded through hard work, self-belief, and discipline — without resorting to examination malpractice.”
Dr. Ojoge, a decorated educationist and mother figure in the Fiwasaye community and multiple award-winning principal described the graduating class as “extraordinary girls who exemplified character, confidence, and competence.”
“These girls knew very well that I have zero tolerance for exam malpractice. They entered the examination hall with courage, without any form of external assistance or cheating — and the results they produced were outstanding,” she affirmed.
Dr. Ojoge further revealed that she had eagerly anticipated the day she would celebrate the girls, having watched them uphold academic integrity while achieving remarkable results.
“They have made me incredibly proud,” she said. “Today is a dream fulfilled — a day of joy and grand celebration for us all.”
The 2024/2025 Valedictory Service was a spectacle of colours, innovations, and deep emotions. The atmosphere brimmed with elegance and joy as students, teachers, parents, and alumni came together to honour the achievements of the graduating class.
In her remarks about her eventual successor, Dr. Ojoge noted that leadership at Fiwasaye demands spiritual strength, emotional intelligence, and a sacrificial heart.
“Whoever will lead this school after me must be prayerful, willing to serve, open to wise counsel, and most importantly, take direction from the Holy Spirit,” she advised.
One of the highlights of the event was the presentation of scholarship awards to indigent students, with amounts ranging from ₦250,000 to ₦500,000, generously offered by supporters and stakeholders. This heartwarming gesture was met with rounds of applause from the audience.
In addition, several dedicated teachers were appreciated by the outgoing students, a gesture that brought visible joy and gratitude among staff members.
The entire programme was hailed as “uncompromisingly awesome and uniquely colourful,” reflecting the rich heritage and enduring legacy of Fiwasaye Girls’ Grammar School, one of the most respected institutions in Ondo State.
