Akoni Oluyide Applauds Ondo Government’s Central Account Policy, Says It Will Transform School Administration
The Principal of Oyemekun Grammar School, Akure, and award-winning educationist, Akoni John Adeniyi Oluyide, has applauded the Ondo State Government for introducing a central account system for all schools across the state, describing the initiative as a welcome development capable of improving transparency and effective administration in the education sector.
Akoni Oluyide made this known while speaking with journalists at Oyemekun Grammar School, Akure, on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, where he expressed his strong support for the government’s policy.
According to him, the establishment of a central account for schools is a laudable initiative that demonstrates the government’s commitment to strengthening the management and development of educational institutions across Ondo State.
He acknowledged that some people might not immediately understand the full implications and benefits of the policy, noting that the initiative could initially generate different opinions and perceptions among stakeholders.
However, the seasoned educationist maintained that the policy would ultimately prove worthwhile, stressing that its benefits would become more evident as it is effectively implemented and properly managed.
He therefore encouraged principals, teachers, parents, education stakeholders and the general public to support and key into the initiative, assuring that the policy is immensely beneficial to the growth and effective administration of schools in the state.
Akoni Oluyide further urged all stakeholders to embrace the policy with an open mind and cooperate with the government to ensure its success, expressing optimism that the initiative would contribute significantly to a more organised, accountable and progressive education system in Ondo State.
