Dr. Ilesanmi John Imisi to bag Professional Excellence and Integrity in Banking Industry
The Focus Magazine has decided to honour Dr. Ilesanmi John lmisi, during the 20th anniversary of the Focus Magazine lecture and award on Friday 24th, July 2026, at Pharmacy Hall, Beside Govt House, near NSCDC Office, Alagbaka, Akure, Ondo State.
The theme of the event :” twenty years of truth, voice and impact: the role of media in shaping society “, is designed to mark the 20th anniversary of the Focus Magazine.
According to the press released by the chairman of the planning committee, the anniversary ceremony will feature a keynote lecture by Prince Kayode Adelekun Fasua, the Managing Director of The Hopes Magazine, while the Ondo State Commissioner for Water Resources, Public Sanitation and Hygiene, Hon. Ayodele Akande FCA is the Chairman, and the Executive Governor of Ondo State, His Excellency, Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa is the Special Guest of Honour.
Dr. Ilesanmi John Imisi, is being honoured with the award of Professional Excellence and Integrity in the Banking Industry.
His recognition was due to his commitment to best practices, sound financial advice, and operational efficiency that have set a standard for professionalism within the banking sector.
Through his conduct, transparency and ethical decision making have strengthened the relationship between financial institutions and public. He is a role model for young professionals entering the industry.
Those others to be honoured by The Focus Magazine Award were selected based on their contributions to governance, humanity, security and community development.
Those to be honoured includes, Hon. Taiwo Adegoroye, Executive Chairman, Odigbo Local Government, Mrs Alabi Adenike Oluwatoyin, Headmistress, Agbeja Community Primary School, Akure, Chief Olusola Aderemi Oluwatayo, Elder Bamidele Yakubu, Mr. Osigwe Omo Ikirodah, Dr. Felix Ale, Mr. Samuel Ogunmusi, Deacon Olumide Ogundowole, HRH, Oloja Robert Gbadega Akinduko, Dr. Olobayo Theophilus Toyin, and others.
The major event will be the official launching of the Focus Magazine office project.
The ceremony will commence at 12:00 noon prompt and feature presentations of the award and fundraising for the Focus Magazine Office project.
