The Nigeria Union of Teachers (NUT), Ondo State Wing, has warmly celebrated the first anniversary in office of Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, applauding his administration for what it described as a year of purposeful governance and compassionate commitment to the education sector. The Union praised the Governor’s steady leadership style, noting that his first year has brought renewed hope and measurable progress to teachers and learners across the state.
In a press statement made available to Democrat News Magazine in Akure on February 24, 2026, the State Chairman of the NUT, Comrade Ayodele Sam Leke, conveyed the heartfelt appreciation of teachers to the Governor. He described Governor Aiyedatiwa as a man whose tenure has already left impactful imprints on the sands of Ondo State’s development.
Comrade Leke noted that the Governor’s interventions in the education sector have been both heartwarming and transformative.
