World Radio Day: Prince Ebenezer Adeniyan Empowers Adaba FM Newsroom

In a heart-warming gesture that underscored the enduring bond between government and the media, the Chief Press Secretary to Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, Prince Ebenezer Adeniyan, on World Radio Day, extended practical support to Adaba FM with the donation of a 50-inch television set and a refrigerator to the station’s newsroom in Akure.

Speaking during the presentation, Prince Adeniyan described the initiative as part of his monthly support programme for media organisations across Ondo State, noting that the gesture was also a token of appreciation for Adaba FM’s consistent professionalism and constructive coverage of the administration of Governor Aiyedatiwa.

According to him, a vibrant and well-equipped media Fletcher is essential to sustaining democracy, promoting accountability, and amplifying development narratives. He reaffirmed the state government’s commitment to fostering a healthy working relationship with journalists and media houses, stressing that the press remains a critical partner in governance.

Receiving the items on behalf of the station, the General Manager, Sir Martins Ayoola, expressed profound gratitude for the timely intervention, describing it as both encouraging and motivating. He pledged the station’s continued support for the Aiyedatiwa administration, assuring that Adaba FM would remain steadfast in delivering responsible, balanced, and people-centred reportage.

The World Radio Day donation stands as another testament to the Ondo State Government’s appreciation of the media’s pivotal role in shaping public discourse and driving social progress.
