Akure Solidarity Movement Inaugurates Executives, Reaffirms Commitment to Akure Development and Gov. Ayedatiwa’s Administration
The Akure Solidarity Movement (ASM), a political and cultural platform dedicated to advancing the interests of Akure within the All Progressives Congress (APC) and Ondo State politics, has inaugurated its executive members with a firm pledge to promote unity, development, and good governance.
During its regular meeting recently where the new executives were sworn in, the Chairman of the group, Hon. Ife Adewole, reaffirmed ASM’s unwavering loyalty and support for the administration of Hon. Dr. Lucky Orimisan Ayedatiwa, the Governor of Ondo State.

In his maiden address, Hon. Adewole emphasized the group’s mission to champion the political and developmental aspirations of Akure people, especially those within the APC. He described the movement as a rallying point for all Akure sons and daughters committed to the progress of the state capital and its environs.
“Our philosophy is clear — to promote Akure’s interest within the APC, protect our members, support the government of Governor Ayedatiwa, and advance the dreams and aspirations of our people in human and infrastructural development,” he said.
The event was attended by prominent political figures, and all the LCDA chairmen in Akure south including Hon. Sunday Adejuyigbe, Chairman of Akure West Local Council Development Area Hon. Barr kayode Taiwo Samson Akure East LCDA ODA hon Ifedayo Ologometa Oyemekun LCDA Adofure,hon Sunday Kekereowo chairman Akure West Isinkan ,former mayor of Akure local government Hon. Afolabi Akinbowale among others.
Former Chairman of Akure South Local Government also congratulated the newly inaugurated executives, urging them to remain steadfast in promoting Akure’s political relevance in the state.
The Akure Solidarity Movement reaffirmed its commitment to serve as a unifying force for Akure indigenes, driving inclusive political participation and sustainable development in alignment with the vision of Governor Ayedatiwa’s government.

The newly inaugurated executive members are as follows:

- Assistant Secretary: Hon. Sunday Faleye
- Public Relations Officer: Hon. Temidayo Akinsulu
- Treasurer: Hon. Adegbonmire Adeolu
- Youth Coordinator: Hon. Isaiah Oluyi
- Women Coordinator: Alhaja Gidado
- Organizing Secretary: Ayodele Ajayi
- Welfare Officer: Hon. (Engr.) Segun Kolawole
- Media Director: Hon. Ranti Fakinlede
Leaders of the movement include Engr. Akinbowale Afolabi, Hon. Sunday Adejuyigbe, and Hon. Ife Ologometa.
