NOA Engages Traditional Institution and Welders’ Union in Advocacy and Sensitization Drive Across Ifedore
In a continuous effort to deepen civic education and promote national values, the National Orientation Agency (NOA) has taken its advocacy campaign to key stakeholders within Ifedore Local Government Area of Ondo State.
On September 2, 2025, the NOA Officer in charge of Ifedore LGA, Mr. Omotade Dada, alongside the Deputy Director, Mrs. Babalola Helen, who represented the Director of Civic, Value, and Democracy Education, paid a high-level advocacy visit to His Royal Highness, Oba Isaac Kolawole Tifase, the Olowena of Olowena, and his council of chiefs at the Olowena Palace.
The visit centered on the five thematic areas of government programmes, with the NOA delegation emphasizing the importance of traditional rulers in promoting civic responsibility, unity, and democratic values at the grassroots.
In furtherance of its outreach, the NOA team held a sensitization and awareness campaign at the Ifedore Local Government Welders Association in Igbara-Oke on September 9, 2025. The campaign aimed to educate artisans on national ethics, safety standards, and their role in community development.
The event was warmly received by the Chairman of the Welders Association, Mr. Adetiloye Gbadebo, and his executive team, who expressed appreciation for the Agency’s initiatives. Mr. Omotade Dada commended the association for its organization and reiterated NOA’s commitment to grassroots engagement.
These outreach efforts form part of NOA’s broader mission to foster national consciousness and active citizenship among Nigerians.
