Golden Grace: Pastor (Mrs.) Mobolaji Sobowale Celebrates 50 Years of Impact in Glorious Jubilee
The atmosphere was rich with colour, grace and heartfelt emotion as Pastor (Mrs.) Mobolaji Oluwatoyin Sobowale celebrated her golden jubilee in life in a grand style befitting her decades of service to God and humanity.
The event, held at the Amazing Grace Zonal Headquarters of RCCG, was nothing short of spectacular, bringing together a host of dignitaries, family, friends, and fellow men and women of God, all gathered to honour a woman whose life has touched countless others with quiet strength, unwavering faith, and enduring love.
Among the eminent personalities present were the Assistant Regional Pastor of RCCG Region 22 and Pastor in Charge of Ondo Province 4, Pastor Ezekiel Olukahounsi; APICP CSR, Pastor Abajigin; Pastor Dele Akinyan; Pastor Adebayo from the Regional Headquarters; Pastor (Mrs.) Oroge; Pastor Korede Owa; and Pastor (Mrs.) Olujimi and host of others.
Representatives from all previous Parishes where Pastor Sobowale had served were also in attendance, demonstrating the wide reach of her ministry over the past 50 years.
In a touching tribute, her daughter-in-law, Sister Tope, Korede Bolu, described Pastor (Mrs.) Sobowale as “a precious mother, one who embodies the essence of what a true mother should represent.”
Her first son, Emmanuel Sobowale, delivered a deeply moving written tribute on behalf of all her children, calling her “the mother of fathers”:
“You became a trainer of trainers… You never gave up on us. Even when the journey was tough, you carried our father in prayer and presence. Thank you, Ma. We love you deeply.”
Her husband, Pastor Mayowa Sobowale fondly called as Pastor Show — also paid tribute to his wife of many years with humility and gratitude:
“We started with nothing, and still, she chose me. She has been my helpmeet in every way — a mother, a partner, a supporter. I am endlessly thankful.”
He also extended deep appreciation to all who contributed to the success of the celebration — through prayer, financial support, and presence — praying that God would reward them abundantly.
In her response, Pastor (Mrs.) Mobolaji Sobowale gave all glory to God for the grace to witness such a milestone:
“It has not been easy, but God has helped me. I thank every pastor and leader who came despite their busy schedules. I also thank all the members of the church, the NECO staff, and both the Sobowale and Fatukasi families for honoring me with their presence.”
The golden jubilee was not only a celebration of age but also of a legacy — one built on faith, endurance, humility, and selfless service. As Pastor (Mrs.) Sobowale steps into this new season of life, her story remains a beacon of inspiration to all who witnessed it.
