EKITI FUTURE AGENDA ROUNDTABLE SPARKS THOUGHTFUL REFLECTION ON GOVERNANCE ACHIEVEMENTS AS DR. SANMI ADEBO COMMENDS GOVERNOR OYEBANJI’S INCLUSIVE LEADERSHIP
The highly anticipated Ekiti Future Agenda Special Roundtable on Political Governance and Development was successfully held on Thursday, July 10, 2025, at the Archbishop Adetiloye Hall, Trade Fair Complex, Ado-Ekiti. The gathering brought together influential stakeholders from across Ekiti’s political, civic, and professional spheres to assess the administration of Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji (BAO), with a spotlight on his six-pillared governance framework.
Dr. Sanmi Adebo, a respected political figure and Principal Guest at the event, was warmly received and widely applauded for his active engagement. Organizers remarked that his presence added immense value, underscoring his ongoing relevance in Ekiti’s socio-political discourse. Reflecting on the event’s theme—“Approaching 2026: How Far and How Well is BAO’s 6 Pillars of Administration?”—participants engaged in robust and objective dialogue. Delivering the lead presentation, Engr. JMO Ekundayo, PhD, Director General of the Office of Transformation and Service Delivery (OTSD), offered a comprehensive evaluation of government performance. His insights were enriched by contributions from voices within the Labour Union, Inter-Party Advisory Council (IPAC), the opposition, the ruling APC, and civil society organizations. The session was expertly chaired and moderated by the Ekiti State Commissioner for Information, who guided the conversation with poise and objectivity.
