Constellation Club of Ilara-Mokin in Ifedore Local Government Area of Ondo State has commenced 2022 free coaching classes for eligible students from different schools that are preparing for West Africa Examinations Council, (WAEC), National Examination Council (NECO) and Joint Admissions Matriculations Board (JAMB) Exam within Ilara-Mokin and its environs.

The free coaching classes started last year as part of the cardinal points of the Club on education under the leadership of Const (Surv) J.I.S Afolabi who has put the necessary machinery on motion to engender purposeful leadership and to positively impact the community.
At the flag off of 2022 edition of the exercise on 14th of March, 2022, the President, Const (Surv) J.I.S Afolabi said that the purpose of the free coaching is to ensure the success of the students in Ondo state and particularly those from Ilara-Mokin and its environs.

He pointed out Constellation Club has made adequate provision for the programme at St. Andrew Primary School; Ilara-Mokin calling on parents and guidance to encourage their children and wards to attend the classes at no cost to them.
According him: “This programme is opened to all students of senior classes of Secondary Schools (SS classes) within Ilara-Mokin and its environs that are preparing for WAEC, NECO and JAMB.

“This free coaching is all encompassing; it covers all subjects and syllabi for different external examinations like WEAC, NECO and JAMB”.
He therefore encouraged the students to be more serious to utilize the golden opportunity at their finger tips; and that scholarship would be given to the outstanding students of Ilara-Mokin origin during the club’s week coming up in November this year.

Mokin Constellation Club is a conglomerate of illustrious sons of Ilara-Mokin of like minds, and the social club started about 35 years ago with many outstanding achievements.
Afolabi pointed out that some of the achievements of the club include giving of palliatives to market women during Covid-19, immense financial contributions to Ilara town for community development projects, distributions of text and exercise books to students of government secondary schools in the town, presentation of awards to outstanding students and class teachers yearly and a host of others.
