Agric Commissioner felicitates Ogbolu of Itaogbolu, Oba Faborode, at 79

The Commissioner for Agriculture and Forestry in Ondo State, Engr. Olaleye Akinola, has extended heartfelt felicitations to His Royal Majesty, Oba Idowu Faborode, the revered Ogbolu of Itaogbolu, on the occasion of his 79th birthday, describing his life, marked by wisdom, leadership, and service to his people, as a shining example of a life well-lived.
While eulogising the royal father’s unwavering dedication to the welfare and progress of his people, which has earned him the love and respect of his subjects, the commissioner, in a glowing tribute, described Oba Faborode as a symbol of unity and progress, not only in Itaogbolu but also across Akure North Local Government area of the state.
He stated that the monarch has consistently demonstrated wisdom and a deep commitment to the development of his community.
Engr. Akinola further noted that Oba Faborode’s reign has been characterised by significant milestones, including the recent establishment of the Customary Court in Itaogbolu.
He said, “Your commitment to promoting peace, stability, and cooperation within Itaogbolu and its environs, as well as your outstanding leadership qualities, have been instrumental in fostering unity among the people. Kabiyesi, your unwavering support for initiatives that drive development and growth in the area is deeply appreciated.”
According to the commissioner, Oba Faborode’s life reflects selfless service, a strong dedication to the well-being of the people, and a passion for the growth and progress of Akure North and Ondo State as a whole.
He added that the celebration of Kabiyesi’s 79th birthday by people from all walks of life is a testament to the high regard in which the monarch is held across Ondo State. He joined the royal family, chiefs, and the entire Itaogbolu community in wishing Oba Faborode a happy birthday, good health, and many more years of fruitful service to his kingdom.
