Adaja of Isinkan, Amb. Anu Ijiti Bags Exemplary Leadership Award for Community Service
The Adaja of Isinkan Kingdom, Ambassador Anu Ijiti, was among the distinguished honourees at the 2025 Topshot Hall of Fame Awards, where he was conferred with the Exemplary Leadership Award for Community Service.
The honour, presented in recognition of his unwavering commitment to grassroots development, humanitarian outreach, and inclusive leadership, further cements Amb. Ijiti’s standing as a respected figure in Ondo State’s traditional and civic space.
Responding to the honour, Amb. Ijiti expressed deep appreciation to the organizers for the recognition, stating that it reflects the value of serving with integrity and compassion. “This award is a gesture I do not take lightly,” he said. “I reaffirm my dedication to the people of Ondo State and pledge to continue to contribute meaningfully to their welfare and to the development of the state.”
He also commended Topshot News for its consistency in championing credible reporting and celebrating individuals making impactful contributions. “You have remained a trailblazer in the media industry, and I urge you to keep raising the bar,” he said.
The award ceremony, drew an impressive gathering of government officials, corporate leaders, community influencers, and professionals from various sectors.
Other prominent awardees included Mr. Sesan Ajetomobi, Group Managing Director of Autoprobe Technical Services, who was named Topshot Man of the Year; Mrs. Olamiposi Odofin, Media Director at the Ondo State Governor’s Office, who received the Face of Ondo State Media award; and Dr. Toyin Adeyalo who was honoured for her Golden Service among others.
The event also featured a keynote lecture by Dr. Gbolabo Osunsanmi FNITP on “A Retrospective Perspective on Leadership, Governance and Development in Ondo State,” offering an insightful review of the state’s socio-political evolution.
Earlier in her address, the Chairman of the occasion, Dr. Rhoda Makinde, praised the organizers for upholding excellence and using the platform to highlight and celebrate individuals driving positive change in their communities.
