The newly appointed Tutor-General for Ondo Central Senatorial District, Dr. (Mrs.) Fadekemi Niran-Jogbodo, has officially resumed office with a strong commitment to delivering quality service and advancing educational excellence across the district. Her assumption of duty marks the beginning of a new chapter of purposeful leadership in the education sector, as she expressed readiness to make a lasting impact through dedication, professionalism, and innovation.

Dr. Niran-Jogbodo resumed work on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, amid a warm and enthusiastic reception from members of staff and several high-ranking principals drawn from schools across the senatorial district. The atmosphere was filled with joy and optimism as colleagues, education administrators, and well-wishers gathered to welcome the accomplished educationist to her new office.

 

The event featured a special session of prayers, during which God’s guidance, wisdom, strength, and divine protection were sought for the new Tutor-General. Friends, education stakeholders, and members of staff also prayed for a successful tenure that would usher in greater progress for schools under her supervision.

In her inaugural remarks, Dr. Niran-Jogbodo expressed profound appreciation to the Governor of Ondo State, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, for finding her worthy of the appointment. She described the opportunity to serve as a great privilege and pledged to justify the confidence reposed in her through hard work, integrity, and unwavering commitment to excellence.

 

The new Tutor-General affirmed that her administration would be driven by a passion for improving teaching standards, promoting academic excellence, strengthening school administration, and creating a more conducive learning environment for students and teachers alike. She stressed that quality education remains the foundation of sustainable development and assured that she would work tirelessly to move the sector forward.

Dr. Niran-Jogbodo called on principals, teachers, parents, community leaders, and other stakeholders to unite in the collective task of repositioning education in Ondo State.
