ONDO @ 50: NOA HAILS FOUNDING VISION, COMMENDS AIYEDATIWA AT JUBILEE LECTURE

The Ondo State Directorate of the National Orientation Agency (NOA) has joined in the celebration of the 50th anniversary of Ondo State, describing the Golden Jubilee as a moment of pride, reflection and renewed commitment to the founding ideals of the Sunshine State.

In a congratulatory message signed by the State Director of NOA, Mrs. Olufunke Moradeyo Adekunle, made available by the Agency’s PRO Ralph Oguntibeju said the milestone represents a celebration of the people and government of Ondo State, as well as the enduring legacy of its founding fathers.

According to her, “Ondo State at 50 is not just a celebration of years, but a celebration of resilience, purposeful leadership and the enduring spirit of its people. The labour of our founding fathers has not been in vain, as it continues to yield visible fruits in our growth and collective achievements.”

Mrs. Adekunle noted that the anniversary underscores the importance of unity, value reorientation and responsible citizenship in sustaining development across the state. She urged residents to preserve the legacy of discipline, hard work and patriotism bequeathed by the pioneers of the state.

Also, addressing the journalists at a public lecture held at the International Event Centre (The Dome), Akure, as part of activities marking Ondo @ 50, the NOA boss said the Golden Jubilee provides a unique opportunity to honour the sacrifices of the founding fathers whose vision continues to shape the state’s progress.

The Management and Staff of the Agency congratulated the Governor of Ondo State, Dr. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, for his leadership and commitment to consolidating the gains of the past five decades, while expressing confident that Ondo State will continue to witness stability, innovation and inclusive development under his guidance.

Mrs. Adekunle reaffirmed the commitment of the National Orientation Agency to deepening civic responsibility and strengthening public trust through sustained sensitisation and engagement across the state.
