Preparations are in top gear for the 2025 AINPN Week, scheduled to take place on Friday, 19th December 2025, at the NMA Event Center, Alagbaka, Akure.

This year’s theme, “The Rise of One-Party Dominance: Implications for Democracy and the 2027 General Election,” sets the tone for a gathering of leading voices in politics, business, academia, faith, and civil society. The prestigious event aims to honour individuals who have demonstrated excellence, integrity, and transformative impact in their various fields.

A major highlight of the ceremony will be the conferment of the Champion of Democratic Dividend Award on Hon. Chief (Dr.) Timehin Adelegbe, Vice Chairman of the House Committee on Foreign Affairs and the distinguished lawmaker representing Owo/Ose Federal Constituency.

According to the organisers, Hon. Adelegbe was selected for this honour in recognition of his exceptional political trajectory, unwavering commitment to accountability, and growing influence as a dependable leader in Nigeria’s democratic journey.

This year’s AINPN Week will also feature an array of distinguished awardees, further underscoring the calibre and credibility of the event.
