Eid al-Fitr: Olumafon of Imafon Kingdom, Oba Adegbehingbe, Felicitates Muslim Faithful, Calls for Unity and Peace
The Olumafon of Imafon Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Oba Samuel Aliu Adegbehingbe Atonlusi I, has extended his warmest congratulations to all Muslim faithful across Ondo State on the successful completion of the holy month of Ramadan.
In a heartfelt message marking the celebration of Eid al-Fitr, the revered monarch commended the Muslim Ummah for their steadfast devotion, discipline, and commitment to the spiritual exercise of fasting, prayers, and acts of charity throughout the sacred period.
Oba Adegbehingbe, who is also the Akoni Oodua and a multiple award-winning traditional ruler, made this known in a press statement made available to Democrat News Magazine in Akure on March 20th, 2026. He noted that Ramadan represents a time of deep reflection, self-purification, and renewed faith in Almighty Allah.
The royal father urged Muslims to sustain the virtues of love, humility, tolerance, and generosity imbibed during Ramadan, emphasizing that these values are essential for fostering peaceful coexistence and development within communities.
While congratulating the faithful on witnessing the Eid celebration, Oba Adegbehingbe also called on all residents of Ondo State, irrespective of religious differences, to embrace unity and work collectively towards the progress and stability of the state.
He further prayed that the blessings of the holy month would abide with the people, bringing renewed hope, prosperity, and lasting peace to Imafon Kingdom, Ondo State, and Nigeria at large.
