HON. OYEDEJI ADEGBOYEGA CELEBRATES ABENA AT BIRTHDAY, HAILS HIS EXEMPLARY LEADERSHIP AND LEGACY OF SERVICE
Hon. Oyedeji Adegboyega, Secretary of Akure East Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Coordinator of Ondo 33 LCDA Secretaries, and Coordinator of Akure South APC Ward Secretaries, has extended warm and heartfelt birthday felicitations to Hon. Sunday Ifedayo Abegunde (ABENA), the Corporate Executive Director of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), on the occasion of his special birthday.
In his glowing tribute, Hon. Adegboyega described Hon. Abegunde as a distinguished statesman whose leadership journey has been marked by dedication, vision, and uncommon commitment to public service. He noted that ABENA’s political and administrative career stands as a shining testimony to purposeful leadership and selfless service to humanity.
Reflecting on his remarkable track record, Hon. Adegboyega recalled Hon. Abegunde’s impactful tenure as a two-term member of the House of Representatives, his outstanding service as Secretary to the State Government (SSG) in Ondo State, and his current role as Corporate Executive Director of the NDDC. According to him, each of these offices was discharged with excellence, leaving indelible footprints of development and good governance.
He further extolled Hon. Abegunde as a jolly good fellow, an exemplary leader of all time, and a cynosure of all eyes whose humility, accessibility, and people-oriented disposition have endeared him to many across political and social divides. He emphasized that ABENA’s leadership style continues to inspire upcoming leaders within and beyond Ondo State.
The congratulatory message was contained in a press statement made available to Democrat News Magazine in Akure on Friday, January 9, 2026. In the statement, Hon.
