OPERATION FEED MY PEOPLE: A RIVER OF HOPE FLOWS THROUGH ONDO CITY AS PASTOR AKINYEMI EMPOWERS OVER 2,000 SOULS
Ondo City stood still in awe and gratitude on Saturday 20th of December, 2025 as Operation Feed My People unfolded in a grand and compassionate display of service, humanity, and faith, leaving indelible marks on the hearts of over 2,000 beneficiaries.
The life-changing initiative was spearheaded by Pastor and Reverend Victory and Bola Akinyemi of Joyflow International Ministry, whose passion for uplifting humanity once again found powerful expression in their hometown, Ondo City, Ondo State, Nigeria.
Pastor Victor Akinyemi, based in Maryland, United States of America, has consistently demonstrated unwavering commitment to community development, empowering people regardless of faith, tribe, or background.
However, this year’s edition of the programme stood out as exceptional, recording a remarkable increase in beneficiaries, crossing the 2,000 mark and touching lives on an unprecedented scale.
The empowerment exercise was seamlessly blended with Ondo Mega Praise, a spiritually electrifying worship experience that drew gospel music ministers from far and near.
Through heartfelt songs of praise and worship, the atmosphere was saturated with thanksgiving, drawing what many participants described as the tangible presence of God over not just the sports arena, the venue of the event, but the entire city of Ondo.
Praise sessions began as early as 8:00 a.m. and continued uninterrupted until the close of the programme, sustaining spiritual energy and unity throughout the long but fulfilling day.
As beneficiaries were attended to in batches, the event maintained a high level of organization, reflecting thoughtful planning and respect for human dignity.

Speaking with Democrat News Magazine, Mrs. Ogunjimi Kemi, elder sister of Pastor Victor Akinyemi, described the event as a watershed moment in the history of Ondo City.

“Glory be to God,” she said, “this Operation Feed My People is sponsored by Pastor Victor Akinyemi, who has been consistent in giving back, but this edition is truly unique.”
