Young Nigerian Voices Strengthen Ties with ADC in Ondo State Ahead of 2027 Polls

In a move to solidify political alliances ahead of the 2027 general elections, Hon. Soji Adeniyi, the Ondo State Coordinator of Young Nigerian Voices (YNV), has led a state delegation to meet with Chief (Mrs.) Ganiyu Sidiriki, the Ondo State Chairperson of the African Democratic Congress (ADC). The strategic meeting, held at the ADC state office, aimed to deepen the coalition efforts initiated at the national level and replicate the same collaboration across state and local government structures.

During the visit, Hon. Adeniyi conveyed the directive of YNV’s national leadership, emphasizing the importance of integrating YNV members into the ADC’s political framework at all levels—from the state to the ward level. He noted that such inclusion would not only strengthen grassroots mobilization but also enhance the operational effectiveness of both organizations in the lead-up to the elections.

Adeniyi urged the ADC leadership to fully embrace members and leaders of Young Nigerian Voices, stressing that their involvement would inject youthful energy, innovative ideas, and a renewed sense of purpose into the party’s structure and campaign machinery.

In her response, Chief (Mrs.) Ganiyu Sidiriki warmly welcomed the YNV delegation and pledged her commitment to the coalition. She assured the team of her willingness to incorporate YNV members into the ADC’s local structures and affirmed her readiness to work collaboratively toward electoral success. “We are open to this partnership, and we will do all we can to ensure it thrives for the benefit of our party and the people,” she said.

It would be recalled that Young Nigerian Voices, under the national leadership of Barr. Chukwuemeka Nwajiuba, Ph.D., recently purchased nomination forms for some aspirants vying for seats in the House of Assembly and House of Representatives. This move signaled the group’s firm commitment to active political participation and youth representation in governance.

Other notable leaders present at the meeting included Sunday Egenegel, Deputy State Coordinator of YNV; Eniola Olurotimi, Public Relations Officer of ADC; Abubakar Adisat Kemisola, Deputy State Woman Leader of YNV; and Caleb Kalad Daminu, a prominent member of the youth movement. The meeting concluded on a high note, with both parties optimistic about a fruitful collaboration.
