Iralepo of Isinkan Hails Governor Aiyedatiwa’s Victory At Appeal Court says its a Triumph of Justice and the People’s Mandate
In the wake of the Court of Appeal’s decisive ruling upholding the election of Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa and his deputy, Dr. Olayide Adelami, the Iralepo of Isinkan in Akure South Local Government, High Chief Gbenga Adeyeye, has extended warm and heartfelt congratulations to the Governor, describing the judgment as a resounding affirmation of the people’s will and democratic integrity.
In a personally signed congratulatory message made public, High Chief Adeyeye lauded the judiciary for its unwavering commitment to truth and justice, noting that the verdict has finally put to rest all legal distractions that threatened to impede the progress of the current administration.
“The Governor must now be given the full latitude of support to bring his noble visions and policies to life,” he emphasized, cautioning that any effort to undermine the administration amounts to a violation of the sacred mandate freely bestowed by the electorate.
Chief Adeyeye specifically praised the appellate court sitting in Akure for its sound dismissal of the petition filed by Olugbenga Edema of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP), which challenged the legitimacy of the All Progressives Congress (APC) primary election that produced Governor Aiyedatiwa.
Reaffirming the enduring place of the judiciary as the pillar of democracy and the last hope of the common man, he described the ruling as not only a victory for the APC and the people of Ondo State, but also a strong endorsement of the judiciary’s fidelity to fairness and constitutional principles.
In conclusion, the revered monarch urged the people of Ondo State to rally behind the administration, as the state marches confidently on the path to greatness and transformative development.
