Akure East LCDA Chairman, Barr. Kayode Taiwo Samson, Hails Judiciary For Upholding Tenet of Democracy Courts Judgement In Favour Aiyedatiwa, Adelami, Calls it a Triumph for Democracy and the Will of the People
The Chairman of Akure East LCDA, Oda, Barr. Kayode Taiwo Samson, LL.M, has extended warm congratulations to the Governor of Ondo State, His Excellency Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa and his Deputy, Dr. Olayide Adelami, on their resounding victory at the Court of Appeal, which affirmed their candidacy and dismissed the suit filed by NNPP’s Candidate Olugbenga Edema on procedural grounds.
Describing the appellate court’s verdict as a solid reaffirmation of the trust and confidence reposed in Governor Aiyedatiwa by the people of Ondo State, Barr. Samson praised the judiciary for upholding justice and strengthening democratic values.
In a statement made available to Democrat News Magazine in Akure, Barr. Samson noted that the dismissal of the appeal challenging the validity of the APC primaries is a victory not just for the Governor and his Deputy, but for democracy and the rule of law.
He lauded the judgment delivered by Justice Oyebisi Omoleye as a clear reflection of the will of the majority who voted for Governor Aiyedatiwa and Dr. Adelami during the November 16 gubernatorial election.
Barr. Samson, a respected LCDA leader and advocate for community development, urged the people of Ondo State to continue supporting the Governor and his Deputy as they work to deliver democratic dividends and drive transformative development across the state.
He also offered prayers for the continued success of Governor Aiyedatiwa’s administration, especially in its efforts toward infrastructure and overall development of the state. He specifically highlighted the Oke-Aro/Idanre dualization project and similar initiatives as vital to improving the lives and economic prospects of the people.
