HRH Oyewunmi Rotimi Akinbosotu Crowned As Regent of Ijigba in Grand Ceremony
In a culturally rich and dignified ceremony held in Ijigba, Akure South, HRH Oyewunmi Rotimi Akinbosotu was formally installed as the Regent of Ijigba. The auspicious event drew a host of eminent personalities and community leaders, marking a new chapter in the town’s traditional leadership.
The Akure South Local Government Chairman was ably represented by the Secretary of the Council, Hon. Adeola Rosemary Fynch, who extended heartfelt congratulations on behalf of the local government.
Among the distinguished guests were Prince Bola Rotimi, head of the Rotimi family; Prince Lanre Rotimi, the Crown Prince; Chief and Chief Mrs. Richard Akinbosotu; Chief Mrs. Adekanye, the Erelu of Akure; High Chief Sunday Ilesanmi, the Elemo of Ijigba; along with many other traditional and honorary chiefs.
Spiritual blessings were offered by Pastor Olubola of CAC, Ijigba. Also present were Prince Michael Akinbosotu, Regent’s husband and a delegation of the Regent’s friends and well-wishers from Lagos, highlighting the broad support and admiration for the newly appointed regent.
